​Youghal U9‟s hosted U9 Monster Blitz on Sat 28th March, two teams from Erin‟s Own took part, one from Fermoy and two Youghal teams. Everyone had a great time and there was a great standard of football played by all. A special thanks to Peter Kirk and Ruairi McMahon who kindly refereed and did a tremendous job. Thanks to the parents that helped out in any way and for providing refreshments to all afterwards 

​Youghal hosted three football teams in the Féile B Group 4 section on Saturday 14th March. The Youghal lads won all three games comfortably with high winning margins. We progressed to the semi-final in Passage the following day where our opponents were Ballinascarthy. They topped their group unbeaten also. From the throw-in we knew we were in a battle - the Ballinascarthy midfield powered through our defence to notch up their first goal. This was repeated shortly after when their star forward slotted home and two further points left us with a tough job ahead. However our lads rallied and took control for the reminder and were unlucky not to reduce the deficit with a missed penalty and great saves by their keeper. We trailed 2-2 to 0-2 at the break. The second half began where the first ended with every ball being hotly contested. Once again, with Youghal having the majority of possession, we couldn't translate it into scores. The team showed that they are well capable of playing at this high intensity and the future bodes well for our lads.
