Like our intermediate hurling team,the football league has also concluded with Youghal finishing bottom of DIV 5.
Overall the team have been competitive and lost some of their games narrowly.Sometimes no's were small for games given management no options as they couldn't make changes .It is also hard to get rhythm when you have a different team and no consistency during the league.
With the league done and dusted for another year ,it is now time to concentrate on Championship, if we want to prolong our season and progress to the latter rounds like last year. Next round of championship is against Millstreet and will be played on the August weekend.
