Youghal 4-3 Carrigtwohill 2-1

Youghal and Carrigtwohill met in the first round of the 2013 U14 League on Monday last with the weather not in it best form. The Youghal girls playing with the wind in the first half were on top of their game at the start. Caitriona O Keeffe and Eimear Farrell showing great leadership on the night and with scores coming from Caitriona and Ciara O Brien kept the Youghal girls ahead at half time. Carrigtwohill with help of the wind put alot of pressure on the Youghal backs in the second half, but Aoife Geary and Amy Herlihy showing their strength kept the Carrig girls from scoring. Ciara Crowley performing and showing some great skill in the second half added to the Youghal score line. Final score Youghal 4-3 to Carrigtwohill 2-1
