Youghal 2-6 Bride Rovers 2-0
​On Monday evening last Youghal U16s played Bride Rovers, with home advantage to Youghal.  Playing against a strong breeze in the first half, Youghal started well and it didn’t take long for the first score from Erin Galvin and another followed from Niamh Roche.  As Youghal half- back line pushed up the field putting the Bride Rovers under pressure. Shauna O Connell scored a great goal followed by further points from Erin Galvin and Cassie O Brien, leaving half time score Youghal 1-4 to no score.  Substitutes Clodagh O Keeffe and Sophie Monaghan came on for the second half of the game, Bride Rovers put pressure on the Youghal girls and scoring a goal in the second half, Youghal kept the pressure on with further points from Erin Galvin and Aoife McCarthy kept the Bride Rover girls at bay.  Bride Rovers finished the game with another goal.  Final score 2-6 to Youghal with Bride Rovers scoring 2-0
