YOUGHAL JUNIOR CAMOGIE V SARS

Sars Intermediate & Junior A team traveled to Youghal last Tuesday play a friendly; they were also saying how hard it is to get games this time of year.
The game really never got going for Sars as Youghal seemed to be on top of their game for the whole 70 minutes, they didn’t give them an inch.  It was great test for the younger girls to be given a chance from the side line and it showed the improvement with the likes of Shannon Watson playing a blinder in corner back at only 15 years of age.

Player of the game has to go to Catherine Donoghue, who must have run a marathon on the pitch, but not in vain as every ball was carefully thought out and played to her forwards resulting in some fine scores from play.

Youghal Juniors will now face Castlemagner in their next league game away on Thursday 26th and they will be hoping to hold their clean sheet.
